Mississippi Development Authority
The agency works to recruit new business to the state, and retain and expand existing Mississippi industry and business. MDA also provides technical assistance to the state's entrepreneurs and small businessmen and women and oversees programs that support Mississippi's minority and women-owned businesses.

The National Association of Development Organization (NADO) is a 501c4 membership association that represents the interests of regional community and economic development practitioners. Established in 1967, NADO advocates for the federal policies and programs that promote equitable community development, economic competitiveness, rural development, economic mobility, and quality of place. NADO represents a national network of more than 500 Regional Development Organization (RDOs) across the country.

The Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau, dba Visit Jackson, is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Jackson. It serves the Jackson community by positively impacting the city's economy through recruitment and securing meetings and tourism activities.
